How to Play Tri-State Pick 3
Draws are held Daily at 1:10 PM and 6:55 PM with a cutoff of 1:00 PM and 6:45 PM to purchase tickets for the draw. All draw times are based on Eastern Time.
How to Play Pick 3
On a Pick 3 play slip mark the play type (straight, box, front pair or back pair), time of day desired, (DAY, EVE, or BOTH) amount of bet ($.50 to $5.00 per bet), and select three (3) numbers (2 numbers if only playing Front Pair or Back Pair) and number of draws for each panel.
On a Pick 3 playslip, mark the EASY PICK (EP) box at the bottom of the panel on each play to let the computer terminal randomly pick the numbers for you. You must still determine the play type, time of day desired, amount of bet and number of draws for each panel. You cannot select 6-way or 3-way box bets (see below) on an Easy Pick bet. Each Easy Pick will be a $.50 play for the next available draw unless another draw time, draw day or dollar amount is selected.
You may purchase a ticket for any of the next 14 draws by filling in the day from the Multi Draws column and the appropriate DAY, EVE, or BOTH box on the play slip.

STRAIGHT - Win $500
If your 3-digit number matches the winning number IN EXACT SEQUENCE, you win $500. ODDS 1:1000

If your 3-digit number containing 3 unique digits matches the winning number IN ANY SEQUENCE, you win $84. ODDS 1:167

If your 3-digit number containing 2 identical digits matches the winning number IN ANY SEQUENCE, you win $166. All 3 of your numbers must match the 3 numbers drawn. ODDS 1:333

2-Number Plays - Win $50
FRONT PAIR
If your 2-digit number matches the first 2-digits of the winning number IN EXACT ORDER, you win $50. ODDS 1:100

Important!
Check your ticket(s) carefully. Be sure your ticket accurately reflects the numbers and play type you want to play. Your play slip does not constitute evidence of a ticket purchase or of numbers selected. The ticket must contain all of the following items: a drawing date (or range of dates); the time of drawing (DAY and/or EVE); the 3-digit number; (for Front Pair/Back Pair, the 2-digit number and X in the Front or Back); type of play; your play amount; a bar code; terminal number; 6-digit control/security number; date and time of ticket sale; and a 15-digit control number.
Cancellation Policy
Tri-State Pick 3 tickets may be cancelled. Cancellation is restricted to the date and location of purchase. Pick Three tickets purchased for a drawing on the purchase date must be cancelled prior to that day's drawing.
Twice a day, at 1:10 PM and 6:55 PM (ET), Sunday through Saturday, a 3-digit number will be drawn. You can win by matching numbers as described above for the draws that you played. Winning numbers may be viewed by visiting http://www.nhlottery.org/winning-numbers/videosearch.asp?GID=3. Winning numbers are also available at Vermont Lottery agent locations (link to agent locater) (where Pick 3 is sold) following the draw, or by calling 1-800-322-8800 (VT only) or 1-802-479-5686.
- Sign the back of your Pick 3 ticket in the space provided. YOU MUST PRESENT THE TICKET TO CLAIM A PRIZE.
- If your prize is less than $500, take your winning ticket to any Vermont Lottery agent location where Pick 3 is sold for validation and payment.
- If your prize is $500 or more, obtain a Claim Form from a Vermont Lottery sales agent location where Pick 3 is sold. Follow the instructions on the Claim Form to submit your claim.
- Any prize can be claimed at the Vermont Lottery. Cash prizes from $500 to $5,000 can be claimed at any Vermont Chittenden Bank. Claim Forms are available at the Vermont Lottery and at any Chittenden Bank https://www.chittenden.com/customer-service/general-info/branch-atm-locator.html.
- IMPORTANT: All prizes must be claimed within one (1) year of the winning draw date on the ticket.
