Instant Ticket Odds
The approximate odds of winning for each prize level are printed on the back of each Vermont Lottery Instant Ticket. The actual number of winners in each prize level may vary based on sales, distribution and the number of prizes claimed. It’s important to note that at any time while a game is available to the public, all top prizes in a specific game may have been won.
The overall odds printed on the back of Instant Tickets are the overall odds of winning a prize for the entire quantity of tickets printed for that particular game. Due to random distribution of winning tickets throughout the entire game, the overall odds do not always reflect the number of winners found in a group of 5, 10 or even 50 tickets. A small group of tickets could have more or fewer winners than the overall odds indicate. Random distribution means there is no pattern to the distribution of prizes.
