Alan R. Yandow
Alan R. Yandow has held the position of Executive Director since July 1998. As the Lottery’s Executive Director, he is responsible for Vermont Lottery operations, regulations and policies. He is also instrumental in the Tri-State Lotto Commission.
Before joining the Lottery, Yandow was with the Burlington Electric Department for eighteen years in marketing, government and public relations. He served as an officer and member of numerous national and regional public power committees.
Also active in the local community, Yandow currently serves on the Boards of the Vermont City Marathon and the National Council on Problem Gambling.
Yandow holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Political Science and Education from the University of Vermont. He has served as a member of the North American State and Provincial Lottery’s (NASPL) Executive Committee as the NASPL President (2003-2004).
