Vermont Lottery Commission Operations The Vermont Lottery Commission consists of five members who are appointed by the governor, with the advice and consent of the senate. The members are appointed for three year terms.
No member of the commission shall have any pecuniary interest in any licensee, licensed under the provisions of Chapter 14 of Title 31 to conduct a lottery, nor shall any member of the commission have a pecuniary interest in any contract awarded pursuant to the chapter. No more than three members of the commission may be members of the same political party.
The commission is responsible for the establishment and management of the state lottery. It meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Vermont Lottery’s office in Berlin.
